I loved every second of this relaxed, colourful, laughter filled wedding. Aimee and Dom got married at The Walnut Tree in Blisworth, it was full to the absolute brim of laughter and love, a gorgeous wedding with rustic flowers and blue butterflies.
From the moment I started photographing them at their pre wedding session, I knew these two were going to be a treat to work with! They bounce of each other so naturally I didn’t really have to give them any direction. Aimee and Dom are expecting their first child, being nearly 25 weeks pregnant on the day she most definitely was glowing beautifully all day.
Aimee was getting ready upstairs with her Mum and bridesmaids, while Dom was in the bar keeping refreshed and looking after all of the guests as they arrived. The ceremony was beautiful, topped off by Dom’s fist pump to the air after they were pronounced husband and wife. After the ceremony the guests enjoyed the sunshine outside whilst carrying on the celebrations. It was such a lovely day even the speeches were held outside. The speeches were short but sweet, from Dom’s Best mans brilliant speech to Aimee’s Dad giving Dom a medal!
The celebrations continued all afternoon until they cut their delicious cake and their first dance (which started fantastically as Bump and Grind by R-kelly!!) The guests and Mother of the Bride reactions were priceless. But they were only joking and seconds later it went into their romantic first dance song. To finish the day off Aimee and Dom ordered a very large Pig roast for all of their guests which went down a true success after all the drinking and dancing.
Here is a selection of some of my favourite photographs to tell the story of Aimee and Dom’s fantastic day.
