You can’t ask for a better way to spend a Wednesday afternoon in January than getting married to your loving fiancé! Evy and Justin had a very intimate and beautiful ceremony at the Daventry Registry Office, then out for a lovely meal with a few of their family and friends later on that evening.
Evy is from America and met Justin a few years ago, since then they have built / designed / projected managed the most beautiful house together. This is the gorgeous setting for most of their wedding photographs. Their day was so much fun to capture; these two were one of the most relaxed and sweetest couples I have ever worked with. Although this wasn’t what was originally planned and there could still be a big “wedding” to come, it certainly didn’t lack everything you need for a wedding. Two people very much in love, a couple of friends to witness, something special to wear, confetti, champagne, oh and flowers always help.
Evy and Justin got ready together along with two of their closest friends at their absolutely gorgeous home. We soon arrived at the Daventry Registry office; it was so intimate and lovely. We were in the cutest, perhaps the smallest ceremony room I have worked in – but that didn’t change a thing. It was still just as moving as a church filled with 200 people - I honestly don’t think I will ever get bored of watching two people who love each other get married, perks of the job!
After their lovely little ceremony, they headed back to their home for some more Dom Perignon, wedding gifts and some photographs of them all. Including photographs in their matching Custom Converse, Justin’s with one large apple and Evy’s with lots of little apples, given to them as a wedding gift. In fact it was so perfectly relaxed Justin even decided to decant his soup that they had eaten earlier on that day in his full on wedding attire while sipping on champagne. Brilliant! In the evening they headed over to the Red Lion in East Haddon where a small selection of their friends and family could meet them for a delicious meal and celebratory drinks.
Here is a small selection of some of favourite photographs to tell their story.
