Wow! What a beautiful winter wedding with stunning this stunning couple; Jo and Luke.
A gorgeous wedding on a sunny winters day at St Peters and St Pauls Church in Moulton, followed by a fantastic reception at The Granary at Fawsley. These two are just the sweetest; they have been together for 10 years since they were teenagers and have recently added Betsey the dog to their family (who of course came along for a bit of wedding fun). Jo and Luke had a very personal and beautiful wedding day full of their closest family and friends. The beautiful cake was made by the mother of the bride, Jo’s friends was there in the morning helping with makeup and hair, the whole place was decorated by themselves with lots of other beautiful touches. Not forgetting the masterpieces of art work in the corridor to the toilets from Jo’s Hen Do; live drawing experience.
In the morning Jo got ready at home with her mother and her bridesmaids (and of course little Betsey for a little while) and Luke was down the local pub with his best men and ushers calming the nerves. The guests starting arriving at the beautiful Church ready for the ceremony at 12pm, however having been a bride myself, I know all too well that sometimes even with the best planning sometimes you are just late on your wedding day through no one’s fault at all! One of my favourite photographs of the morning is the one at 11:55 where Jo, her bridesmaid, her mother and the hairdresser are all still there getting ready and there is the largest clock on the wall telling the time. Luke wasn’t worried though, he knew his gorgeous bride would be there. The ceremony itself was absolutely beautiful with two readings from friends and plenty of hymns. The light shone through hitting just the bride and groom like a magical beam of light on the two of them.
After their beautiful ceremony, Betsy was there to greet the newlyweds as they came out of the church, they went for a small walk around the block. Confetti was thrown and we stayed here for a few formal photographs, then headed over to The Granary where it was just as beautifully decorated as a winter wonderland; full of fairy lights. Everybody was truly getting into the celebrations; their three course wedding breakfast was by Lemon Zest Catering which went down a treat. The speeches were full of tears and laughter, slideshows, an inhaler, fist air pumps and heads in hands!
The celebrations continued all evening, after Jo and Luke had cut their cake the first dance was a surprise for everyone. The two of them had been rehearsing the most fantastic choreographed dance which certainly got everyone in the mood for dancing. It truly was a beautiful day and evening and a pleasure to document their fantastic wedding.
