The Granary at Fawsley is one of my favourite places to photograph, situated in the Fawsley Estate in Daventry. It is a beautiful setting for a wedding or any occasion. I have photographed two wedding receptions, a christening, and endless Tiny Toes & Family Photography Sessions there and thats just in 2013. Glenn, Donna and the whole team are always so friendly and accommodating not only to myself but to their customers.
Everyone I have photographed there has always said how friendly and professional the service they provide is. They have recently just been granted their civil marriage’s license so you can actually get married there too now.
They have two wedding reception rooms; a beautiful room dressed with bunting for smaller weddings and a very large barn which can take unto 150 guests, dressed beautiful by Chelsea Hire for larger weddings. There is also 10 beautiful double rooms with en suits for guests to stay in which all include breakfast. The grounds surrounding The Granary at Fawsley are just as stunning; there’s a large lake which is great for taking the bride and groom off for photographs. There are endless fields and pathways and not forgetting the very well looked after lawn outside the main building. Please ask a member of staff for nature walks when you pop in for afternoon tea.
Not only is The Granary at Fawsley a lovely venue for a wedding or a party, they serve the most delicious afternoon teas; 7days a week 12-5pm. They are an official Tea Pigs stockist where you can buy either a cup of their delicious Tea Pigs teas or by the pack to take home with you. I think I have had one of their home made cakes every time I have been there, and they are truly delicious!
This really is a beautiful venue that I love to recommend to people not just because they serve delicious home made cakes and they’re stunning setting but because the owners are truly very professional, friendly and want you to have the best wedding / stay / afternoon tea / conference possible. So please go over and have a look or at least try a home made scone.
Here are a few photographs of there beautiful venue I would love to share with you all. From their tea room, the smaller wedding reception room and the barn. If you want to see more please pop over to the blog to see Weddings at The Granary at Fawsley.
